WTC Mumbai in association with Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research organized a one day Management Development programme (MDP) at the institute on 6th May 2016. Mr.Virendra Gupte, Faculty of WTI and advisor to Tata International made the ground for the programme by emphasizing the need to create a perfect mind set to start any business. There are multiple players already exist in the market and there is a need to change the product from transaction mode to experience mode. He also elaborated the Six Ps for marketing. Mr. V.S.Mahadevan, a retired faculty member of the Central Bank, in a simplified way explained the financial management for the business startups. He encourage the participants of the various schemes available for startup business and to take advantage of the same.

The faculties from TIMSR took sessions on ‘How to start the business’ as well preparing a ‘Business Plan’. Mr.A.O.Kuruvila, Advisor-Trade & Education, WTC Mumbai gave an overview of the WTC Concept and elaborated on the services provided by WTC Mumbai and encouraged the participants to enroll the ‘Certificate Course on Business Startups’ to get complete knowledge on the subject. Around 20 entrepreneurs joined this programme which was an eye opener for most of the participants.
